St Andrews copy at s PR2358.A1D58 Copy 2: Bound in 18th century calf on paste boards; 5 raised bands on the spine; red leather spine label (Fairy Queen) in second compartment on spine; University stamp (Univ. S. Andr.) in gilt in first comparment, and a former pressmark (F 5 12) in sixth compartment; all board edges tooled in blind.
Condition notes:
Vol. 1: Upper joint rubbed and split at head; lower joint rubbed and split at tail; board edges severely rubbed (especially the lower board tail edge); corners rubbed (especially upper corner of upper board and lower corner of lower board); rubbing to both boards and spine; lacks endcaps; lacks tailband, whilst headband is loose; p. [iii]-xiv loose; leaf S3 torn close to margin; leaf X4 torn at head, close to margin; leaf Kk1 has vertical tear near fore-edge, in upper half of page; leaf KK8 detached, and bottom has been torn away; foxing to pages throughout.
Vol. 2: Both joints rubbed; lower joint split at tail; corners rubbed and bending inwards; both boards rubbed (the upper more so); board edges rubbed; lacks tailcap; leaf Hh2 almost detached.
